Success of Fiesta Show is due to timing (it is the final show before

Question of drapery around arena decision still pending due to number of
people needed to set it up (16 man hours to install). It will cost $60.00 to have
it cleaned. Many comments about how tailored the arena looked at the SASHA
Show.

ANIMAL IDENTIFICATION; Jeanene Pegg-Hundley

The Federal Government is requiring every animal to be tagged/micro-chipped
(horses & livestock). They want 24 hour notice before moving a horse which
will seriously impede shows/events/vet visits/rodeo’s. Please find out more
about this issue & write your state representative. There is a great article in
the recent Horse Gazette which explains it in more detail as a responsible
horse owners we need to be aware of this as it will seriously impede our
movements. Several suggestions were on how to get this information out to our club
members & others. For example: At the Fiesta Show: do we put an article in
each packet or do we have articles available at one of the tables. Bill Eash &
Laura Smith to follow up state & federal government representatives. A few
websites to find out more information on animal identification:
www.usda.gov/nais & www.horsecouncil.org..
