September minutes approved.

TREASURY: Bill Eash gave report.

MEMBERSHIP: Mary Bell

2 new members this month. Clarification of Competition Card is for
individual members who compete or who own horses that compete. Members that don't
show don't need a Competition Card. (See website Arabian Horse Association under
Member News for further information). Membership renewal to be sent out
November 2005.

Re, Membership Directory: a couple of enquiries received. Mary volunteered
to help Margo Shallcross with this project. Project date: January 2006.

Youth: Jeanne Harford

Bank of America has agreed to no service fees for 2 years & at that time will
re-evaluate. Next meeting at the Moody Ranch on Oct. 15, 2005. Youth
clinics in progress: Dr. Jake Wells in November & Kim Potts - to be announced.

Old Business:

Trail ride was a success. New ideas for places to trail ride needed. Will
attempt to trail ride once every quarter. Next tentative date is the first
week of February 2006.

Open Show:

Scheduled: October 29, 2005
Need volunteers for ring stewards, announcers, gate personnel. Marilyn Short
& Kathy Starustka will be in the office. Ms. Savage will not be able to
participate in the show. Note to all members: more volunteers needed in order to
continue participation in Open Shows.

Echo: Ginny Nokes

No Echo published since May 2005. Will get issue out as soon as possible.
Jeanne Hardford volunteered to help with format. A one page Echo will be
published shortly with some of the following questions to members: membership
directory - what kind of information to include; should the Echo be available
on-line & mailed to those who do not have internet access.

There are 7 participants already signed up & spots still available.

SASHA Show:

March 3, 4, 5, 2006 at Rose Palace. 50th anniversary of the show. Board
members voted to approve funding for this show. Please contact Jeanne Harford
for more information.

New Business:

Motion approved to send cheque in lieu of flowers to a Hospice in memory of
Margo Shallcross's mother who died recently.
