AAHA Board Meeting

Meeting called into session at 07:15 PM

August Minutes Approved with corrections.

Treasurers Report:

Bank balances were announced by Bill. The year was way under budget from projections due to the fewer horses at the Fiesta show and increased costs.

Fiesta Show: Increase in Fees as follows:

Stalls $70.00
Day Stall $35.00
Office Fee $20.00
Entry Fee $20.00

Bill Eash made a motion to approve and Sherry Youngblood seconded. Increases approved by voice vote.

Open Show: No more trail classes. Adding Costume Class. No year end high point. Sherry Youngblood made a motion the walk-trot youth under 18 must wear helmets at our open shows and Jeanne Harford seconded the motion. Motion passed on voice vote.

Trail Ride: October 11th there will be a trail ride at Silvio Moraes’s Training Center.

2008/2009 Budget for July 1, 08-June 30, 09 approved based upon the increases in Fiesta pricing. Budget shows a $690 profit for the time period. Budget was approved by a voice vote.

Old Business: no old business

New Business: Discussion on the possible use of the two judge system for the May show. It was decide to wait and see how other show did under the two judge system.

Announcements: Emergency sign up to help the evacuees’ of the hurricane on Marilyn’s web site.

Membership: 133 Adults and 34 Youth members.
